NAQP 2008/2009 4C Practices & Pricing Study
The only study of its kind, the 2008/2009 4C Practices & Pricing Study represents NAQP’s second such study in recent years geared toward the needs of small, four-color commercial printers and copying firms. The study helps 4C printers benchmark their businesses against industry-wide practices. It also reveals user ratings for 15 different presses and three major suppliers of digital copiers.
This study breaks out data by a number of variables, including sales range, profitability, sales per employee (SPE), sales per DTP employee, hourly DTP charges, and sales per press operator. The vast majority of the study, however, is devoted to data trends in 4C practices and pricing strategies, which include:
Graphic/Pre-Press Charges
Printing & Copying Sales
4C Process Printing
Primary Color Copier Processing & Pricing
Color Copier Pricing
Copier Pricing
Basic Paper Costs
